Philosophy
Lemogang Modisakeng (Mx) is an Associate Lecturer in Philosophy currently completing a Masters in Philosophy at Rhodes University as a David Ryan Fellow. Modisakeng holds a Rhodes-Investec Top 100 award (2017); Merit Award (2018); and was awarded the Trevor Cohen Prize for Philosophy (2018). Hx research areas are in Southern African philosophy, specifically the philosophy of Setswana oral tradition and Africana phenomenology. Modisakeng currently teaches Ideology Critique, Philosophical Questioning, and Philosophical Argumentation.
